Welcome to the website for the Scottish Centre for Children with Motor Impairments.
Based at the Craighalbert Centre in Cumbernauld, we provide educational and therapy services for children and young people throughout Scotland affected by cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions, which result in disorders of learning, movement and communication.
The services we offer include:
Early Intervention Programme - which includes a Parent and Baby service for children aged 0 - 2 years and which is free.
Nursery Class - which includes integrated education and therapy for children aged 3 - 5 years.
Primary Class - which includes integrated education and therapy for children aged 5 - 12 years.
Secondary Class - which includes integrated education and therapy for children aged 12 - 14 years.
Access to Education - a therapeutic Programme for children across Scotland age 3 - 19 years.
Our services are partly funded by Scottish Government. For more information visit the About Us section of this site.
Please take time to find out more about us, and don't hesitate to get in touch if you would like more information or advice, or to arrange a visit to the Centre.
